Generally when we speak of America, we're talking about the USA
After Columbus discovered America, the South American continent was divided between the Portuguese and the Spanish. For this reason, the majority of South America speaks Spanish and Brazil speaks Portuguese.
Strictly speaking, Europe is not its own continent, it's only the smaller, western part of Eurasia.
Africa is a continent with majestic landscapes and exotic cultures.
Asia is the eastern part of Eurasia and the continent with the largest and highest population density in the world.
The continent of Australia includes the commonwealth of Australia and may include New Guinea and New Zealand.
